Hysteroscopic Polypectomy
Uterine polyps are a non-cancerous overgrowth of cells in the inner wall or lining of the uterus. Small polyps are usually asymptomatic and don’t need any intervention or treatment.

However polyps can cause increased bleeding during periods and spotting or mild bleeding in between periods. Rarely polyps are the causes of infertility or difficulty in conceiving when they are of significant size. Hysteroscopic Polypectomy is a surgery performed to remove uterine polyps preserving the uterus. This is a minor surgical procedure and doesn’t need any cuts. Most of the times the symptoms disappear after removal of the polyp and patients are able to conceive or get pregnant naturally.
